Some Tips for Growing Your Denver Daisies

• Cover the seeds a fourth of an inch below the soil line in well-drained soil.
• Until you actually see the daisies sprout, it’s critical that you keep the soil moist. If the soil dries out at any point during the germination process, your seeds are at risk.
• Grow in an area with as much light as possible.
• For transplanting, choose a well-drained area with six to eight full sun exposure. Space seedlings at least 18 inches apart. Water as needed, avoiding excessive moisture conditions.
• All varieties of Rudbeckias (aka black-eyed Susans) such as the Denver Daisy are hardy. Once mature, they can survive on one-half an inch of water every other week or even when overwatered.
