Denver Arts Week kicks off with Know Your Arts First Friday, a celebration of local art and artists in the Mile High City's thriving neighborhood art districts. Think of this as a super-charged version of the First Friday Art Walks that take place every month, with galleries open late, great food and drink, a festive atmosphere, and amazing art to check out. Know Your Arts First Friday offers the perfect introduction to Denver's creative side.
Denver's six art districts serve as the pulse of the Mile High City's creative community, and will give art-lovers unparalleled access to artist alcoves, hip galleries, one-of-a-kind museums, and interactive, arts-centric events.
The fun doesn't stop on Friday – as many of the galleries, studios and districts will have lectures and special events through the week as well. Here is a complete listing on art district activity:

Denver Arts Week is a weeklong celebration, highlighting the city's visual and performing arts, taking place at seven neighborhood art districts, dozens of theaters and museums, and more than 100 art galleries. The event is organized by VISIT DENVER to help draw local and national attention to the cultural renaissance that Denver is experiencing – a renaissance that led Sunset Magazine to proclaim: “The Mile High City is remaking itself as a world capital of art and architecture.”
