PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Regional Metropolitan District (RTD) is the public bus and light rail system for the Denver metropolitan area. RTD has more than 170 bus routes and more than 27 miles of existing light rail lines.

RTD’s newest transit project, the Central Platte Valley Light Rail Line, opened in April 2002. The 13-mile C Line runs from RTD’s Littleton/Mineral Station in south-metropolitan Denver to historic Union Station in LoDo. The new 1.8-mile segment of C Line, which travels through the Central Platte Valley, features four new light rail stations: Auraria West Campus, Invesco Field at Mile High, Pepsi Center/Six Flags Elitch Gardens and Union Station.
