The NCAA® Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship returned to Colorado with a Boston College victory. The Eagles defeated the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame 4-1 in the title game at the Pepsi Center. The sellout crowd of 18,632 was the eighth largest in the event's history.
The Denver Hockey Local Organizing Committee would like to congratulate all four institutions that competed in Denver, as well as the great college hockey fans who make the Frozen Four® one of America’s truly unique sporting events.
Sincere gratitude is extended to our partners - the University of Denver and the Pepsi Center - for making this event a success. The Metro Denver Sports Commission would like to thank everyone involved in the 2008 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four®.
Denver looks forward to hosting the 2009 U.S. Curling National Championships and the opportunity to host future NCAA Championships in the Mile High City.
