Denver Restaurant Week Press Conference Rescheduled for Fri., Feb. 20

Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper and up to 224 of Denver’s top chefs will hold a press conference to officially announce Denver Restaurant Week, the largest culinary celebration in Denver’s history.  Mayor Hickenlooper will deliver an official proclamation and offer a toast to the city’s chefs.  Richard Scharf, president & CEO of the sponsoring VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau, will make an announcement concerning the first official week-long extension of Denver Restaurant Week and reveal the names of the 133 restaurants extending.

The 224 participating chefs will pose for a historic photo in the Galleria of the Denver Performing Arts Complex, signifying that Denver’s dining scene is “on stage” during Denver Restaurant Week.  Mayor Hickenlooper will propose a toast for the chefs, drinking wine supplied by sponsors Mirassou Winery, Louis M Martini and Frei Brothers Reserve.

The chefs will be available for exclusive print and broadcast photo setups.
