11/13/2008

Opening night of Denver Arts Week, Friday, November 14, is Night At The Museums with eleven of the city’s museums opening their doors for FREE from 5-10 p.m.  Each museum will have special events and entertainment and there are FREE shuttles running between the museums with FREE parking at Cherry Creek Shopping Center.  Museums include:  Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Colorado History Museum, the Molly Brown House, the Black American West Museum, the Forney Transportation Museum and more. “This is a great chance for families to park for free at Cherry Creek, hop on a free shuttle and visit several new museums together.  It’s a perfect family ‘stay-cation,’ and a great introduction to the arts, all in a fun, festive – and free – atmosphere,” says Jayne Buck, vice president of tourism of the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, which is sponsoring the event.
