Colorado Convention Center General Information
The Colorado Convention Center (sometimes referred to as the Denver Convention Center) is located in the heart of Downtown Denver. Below are some of the reasons why the center has consistently been ranked by meeting planners as one of the most user-friendly conference venues in the U.S.

Meeting and convention attendees are welcomed as they enter the atrium lobby on the 14th Street side which has 15,800 sq. ft. of total space with spectacular views of Downtown Denver. The west side lobby on Speer Blvd. has 21,200 sq. ft. of space with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. In total there are seven lobby areas - one for each exhibit hall and one for the Wells Fargo Theatre. Several of the lobby areas can be combined to offer beautiful and practical registration areas.
Outdoor Terraces
The Speer Blvd. side has a 7,500 sq. ft. outdoor terrace protected by windscreens with a panoramic view of 140 miles of snowcapped peaks. On the 14th Street side, there is a 1,350 sq. ft. outdoor terrace with views of downtown Denver.
1,000 Space Parking Garage
The new Colorado Convention Center parking lot has 1,000 spaces on three levels (two of them covered), all with easy access to the center. The parking lot has a self-service paying system.
Practical Loading Docks
There are 48 covered loading docks that can accommodate 70-foot trucks, 24 bays per side.
Exclusive Providers
The Colorado Convention Center has three exclusive service providers.
- Centerplate is the exclusive caterer for the Colorado Convention Center and proudly presents the highest level of quality catering services in Colorado. 303-228-8050.
- Smart City Networks is the exclusive provider of event and meeting technology for the Colorado Convention Center. Offering high-speed Internet, turnkey data networking services including local area networks, wide area networks and private networks using the latest technology. Smart City has deployed a wireless network throughout the center that offers internet access to exhibitors and attendees. 303-228-8056.
- SMG, the operator of the Colorado Convention Center provides all electrical and telecommunications services. 303-228-8027.
Flexible Drop-off Points
The Colorado Convention Center has three covered drop-off points for motorcoach shuttles and group transportation.
Convenient Light Rail Station
The Stout Street entrance has its own Light Rail station, making it easy to travel by light rail from the convention center to all downtown stadiums and attractions. The light rail also connects downtown Denver to the Denver Tech Center hotels.
Practical Signage
All new, clear and easy to read signage is found throughout the building, making traffic flow fast and efficient.

The 584,000 sq. ft. exhibit floor is made up of six event halls that can be combined in a variety of configurations.
The Colorado Convention Center offers 584,000 square feet of contiguous event or trade show exhibit space, all on one level.
The hall can be divided into sections of approximately 100,000, 200,000, 300,000, 400,000 or 500,000 square feet. A clear span area in Hall A provides unobstructed seating for 7,000 people.
Five trade show offices overlook the entire exhibit floor through large glass windows. Floor pockets are on 30-foot centers, while columns are at 90-foot centers.
There are nine concession areas serving the floor. All signage is placed near the ceiling where it is easy to read, even above exhibits.

The 63 meeting & event rooms offer 100,000 sq. ft. of meeting space - all on one level with easy to read signage, service corridors and traffic flow.
All 63 hotel-quality meeting rooms feature computer-controlled audiovisual capabilities, fiber optic wiring, color-coordinated chairs and walls, deluxe carpeting and state-of-the-art lighting controls.
The meeting rooms are buffered from registration areas so that extraneous noise doesn't filter into the room each time a door is opened. Hidden service corridors allow the rooms to be catered and supplied without tying up traffic in the hallways.

The new 50,000 sq. ft. Mile High Ballroom has 18 dividing walls, creating literally hundreds of possible room layouts. There's also the 35,000 sq. ft. Four Seasons Ballroom.
The 50,000 sq. ft. Mile High Ballroom is one of the most flexible rooms ever designed. With 18 divisions, it can be transformed into hundreds of different size rooms to meet your event space needs. It can seat 4,690 theatre style or 3,130 banquet.
The 35,000 sq. ft. Four Seasons Ballroom is carpeted throughout, can seat 2,300 for banquets and 3,500 theatre style and is divisible into half or thirds.
Pre-Function Areas
Both ballrooms are served by beautiful pre-function areas. The Four Seasons Ballroom has 12,500 sq. ft. of pre-function space, dominated by towering columns. The Mile High Ballroom has 16,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space.
New Kitchen
A new 6,000 square foot kitchen is located on the Ballroom Level to provide catering to all areas of the building. Both ballrooms and all meeting rooms are accessed by service corridors for ease of use.
Access
There are two passageways that provide easy access directly from the Four Seasons Ballroom into the pre-function space of the Mile High Ballroom for easy flow between the two spaces.
Bellco Theatre

The 5,000-fixed seat Bellco Theatre can be divided into three sections via an airwall system. The theatre is served by entrances from all levels. State-of-the-art sound, stage, lighting and audio-visual capabilities make this one of the most dynamic presentation rooms ever designed.
Stage
Main stage: 100 by 49 feet
Extended stage: 24 by 80 feet
Grid System: Stage area 100 by 75 feet
Trolley Beam hanging system with 2"x2" tension grid. Beams are on 12-foot centers, 5000 pound load capacity.
The Back Stage area features 3 dressing rooms with bath facilities; five client offices with 600 square feet each and a 1,200 square foot Green Room. The theatre also has its own truck dock with five loading bays capable of handling 70-foot trucks
Green Convention Center
The Colorado Convention Center is the premier sustainable green meeting facility. In May 2010, the center received LEED Existing Building: Operation and Maintenance, the largest building in Colorado and one of the largest convention centers in the country to have achieved this certification.
