Chinook Tavern, a fixture in Cherry
Creek North for 13 years. Family-owned and operated, it is a bright
garden-level restaurant and bar, warmed by blonde wood and contemporary
art. Chinook’s menu features German inspired contemporary European
fare. Chef/Owner Markus Georg, has chosen this selection of Chinook
Tavern menu classics for Denver Restaurant Week. Park in
our garage – entrance off 3rd Avenue.
First Course (choice of)
• Sauteed Shrimp Cake – in an almond crust, served
on a bed of mixed field greens with a sweet red bell pepper sauce
• Spinach Salad – served with mustard dill vinaigrette,
house smoked portobello mushroom, haystack mountain goat cheese
and candied pecans
• Old World Onion Soup – baked with a crouton and swiss
cheese
Second Course (choice of)
• Chinook Classic Jaeger Schnitzel – sautéed veal medallions
with a wild mushroom cream sauce, fresh grilled harvest vegetables
and spaetzle
• Chinook Classic Crispy Oven-Roasted Duck – orange glazed,
served with spaetzle and old world red cabbage
• Pan Seared Pistachio Crusted Tilapia – served with amaretto butter sauce, wilted spinach and roasted fingerling potatoes
Third Course
Rote Gruetze – a delicate mixture of simmered cherries and berries,
topped with crème anglaise
