The name Colterra is inspired by the Latin words “to cultivate the earth”. Chef owner, Bradford Heap, is passionate about working intimately with local farmers, ranchers, and purveyors. This spirit, combined with his classic French and Italian training, frame the heart of his vision. Heap’s beautiful, on-site vegetable gardens reflect his commitment to use fresh, seasonal ingredients to create menus that continually evolve and change. Our main dining room and Gables House are handsome and cozy. The outdoor dining area is set on a large stone patio that wraps around our buildings under a canopy of hundred-year-old oak and ash trees.
