Denver Dance Floors
The Mile High City knows how to shimmy, and it shows in the city’s diverse dance floors. From hip-hop to techno, from line-dancing to break-dancing, Denver’s dance floors boast a beat for everyone.
Downtown/LoDo/Larimer Square
You’ll find a dance party almost every night of the week in Downtown Denver.
Join the crowd at Sutra Dance Bar & Lounge (1109 Lincoln St.) for a casual cocktail on its patio or a late-night, VIP dance club experience! Sutra features a cool front lounge patio, a funky dance floor, a fun old-school photobooth, custom bottle service tables, and much more.
Catering to a young and hip crowd, the Tavern Downtown (1949 Market St.) offers a beautiful bar, a cozy fireplace, a game room and, of course, a great dance floor. Just a quick walk from Coors Field in LoDo, this is the perfect spot for some post-game partying.
If you’re looking for a something a little less “techno,” set your sights on the Cowboy Lounge (1941 Market St.), the only country western bar in Downtown Denver. The atmosphere captures the true Wild West with its cowboy flair. You’ll love the spacious dance floor and line-dancing lessons offered every Saturday night from 8:30-10:30 p.m.
South of Colfax Nightlife District
On the other side of Denver’s downtown, you’ll encounter a wealth of nightlife options -- especially if you’re in the mood for dancing. In the unique South of Colfax Nightlife District you'll pay one admission price for several hot nightclub venues, each with more than enough drinks, dancing and DJs, and all within walking distance of each other.
Church (1160 Lincoln St.), a renovated former house of worship that now bows to the altar of good times, features Saturday Latin nights, with live salsa bands and salsa dancing lessons on Saturday beginning at 9:30 p.m.
Vinyl (1082 Broadway), meanwhile, is a multi-leveled nightlife playground, with live hip-hop and dancehall reggae, a sweaty dance floor and friendly vibes.
Bar Standard/Milk (1037 Broadway) is a groovy place to dance to industrial and new wave tunes -- ladies get free admission all night!
