Rocky Mountain Ringers announces its 20th Anniversary Holiday Concert and newly released CD, Hark! Hear the Bells, a blend of traditional Christmas titles and joyous holiday sounds. After all, December = bells + carols, right?!
Don't miss this opportunity to experience the holiday season with some traditional melodies combined with new rhythms. This holiday concert features:
Greensleeves: a Traditional English folk song.

An Angelic Celebration: a medley of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Angels We Have Heard on High.
Christmas Eve Sarajevo: originally composed and performed by the Trans Siberian Orchestra, this song was played by a lowly professional cellist at the town square in Sarajevo on Christmas Eve while the city was being bombed at the height of the Bosnian War.

Coventry Carol: a very popular holiday tune based on the part of the Christmas story where King Herod was very threatened by the new "King"! A sad song indeed!

Stille Nacht: an incredibly beautiful version for handbells, a true holiday classic.

Towers: While not necessarily a holiday piece, the arranger takes the traditional "plain hunt," and turns it into a lively and magnificent handbell "sonata." A bell-feast for the ears and one of our favorites!
