The night is filled with fishing, music, and dancing in the tradition of the October Moon. October Moon is celebrated at a lake named Chapala, near Guadalajara in Mexico’s state of Jalisco. The fishermen and their families rejoice in the Charalito fish harvest gathered by the light of the moon. Come experience this harvest tradition. Dance a midnight dance, taste a Charalito, and make a beautiful artistic fish banner to take home. Registration is required.
