PRESENTED BY Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Enjoy an evening with nature photographer John Fielder as we mark the 20th anniversary of Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO). Fielder drove 35,000 miles and visited every county in Colorado during the past two years, photographing projects funded in part by GOCO with its share of proceeds from the Colorado Lottery. His work resulted in two new books: a photography book and a travel guide to our great state. Fielder will share a spectacular slide show of his images accompanied by beautiful music, and Tim Sullivan, Nature Conservancy state director, will discuss the impact of public funding on protecting Colorado's critical lands. A coffee and dessert reception follows the program, along with a chance to purchase signed copies of the books. Presented as part of an ongoing partnership with The Nature Conservancy.
