“Botanica” reveals nature’s changing imagery in MOMIX’s signature illusionary style. A fantasy world of surreal images and childlike wonder is brought to life by a cast of dancer-illusionists and set to an eclectic score that ranges from birdsong to Vivaldi. Using athletic dance, large-scale puppets, projected imagery and larger-than-life props, choreographer Moses Pendleton evokes a vivid landscape The New York Times calls “Eye-popping and mindboggling… everything looks magical.”
