Museo's has a long-time tradition of doing annual concerts. This history of choosing these types of musicians began many years ago with Lila Downs, who was fairly unknown at that time, and now is a popular musical talent. This concert will coincide with the city's Biennial of the Americas celebration that runs from July to October, 2013. The Biennial's audience will be similar to Museo's visitors and concert audience. Our community partners include Metropolitan State University and East High School, with 60 students attending the Platica and Concert for free as our community outreach and to target younger audiences that have limited exposure to Latin American cultural performances. 5:30pm Benefit and Silent Auction 7:30pm Concert $50 Benefit, Silent Auction, and Concert $30 Concert.
