Chuck D - Sankofa Lecture Series

Represent: The influence of Hip Hop culture on race, space and identity is the theme of the 2013 Sankofa Lecture Series, a two-day conference that situates the study of Hip Hop culture as a site of cultural literacy, identity formation, and tool for innovative and effective teaching practices. The event will culminate with a keynote address by Chuck D, pioneer, scholar, and co-founder of the legendary Hip Hop group Public Enemy
