Enjoy the ongoing and permanent exhibits and displays at the Buffalo Bill's Museum and Grave. Buffalo Bill's Life: A Time Line - Beginning with his childhood in Iowa, the exhibit area provides a chronology of Buffalo Bill's dynamic life as a Pony Express rider, Army scout, actor, performer, and more. In-depth text panels offer a wealth of information for those seeking the full story. Buffalo Bill's Death - Twenty thousand people were in attendance when Buffalo Bill was buried on Lookout Mountain in 1917. This exhibit provides many of the little known details leading up to the following the spectacle. Buffalo Bill: The Showman - While all of Buffalo Bill's life was synonymous with the Western adventure, his legendary status was gained during his years as a showman and founder of the Wild West Exhibitions. This exhibit provides a chronology of Buffalo Bill's life as a showman. The Americans - Buffalo Bill's relationship with American Indians evolved during his lifetime. Originally a scout during the Indian wars, he later became an advocate for American Indians and was well known for treating them with equality and respect during his years with Buffalo Bill's Wild West. Firearms - Firearms were an important part of the American West. This exhibit features many of the guns popular during the life and times of Buffalo Bill, including several from his personal collection. Kids' Cowboy Corral - Design a brand, dress as a cowboy, sit in a saddle and try to lasso a calf! This interactive area offers hands-on fun for children of all ages.
