The performance includes a new work created for Ballet Hispanico by choreographer Ronald K. Brown, called “Espiritu Vivo.” This piece explores the intersection of the African and Latino diasporas in the Caribbean and Latin America and features the music of legendary Peruvian singer Susana Baca. Ballet Hispanico explores Latino cultures through dance. The professional Company celebrates the dynamic aesthetics of the Hispanic diaspora, building new avenues of cultural dialogue and sharing the joy of dance with all communities.
