he five-day line-up will feature approximately 50 short, medium and feature-length films created by filmmakers from corners of the globe such as Brazil, Denmark and Afghanistan. The quality of this year’s films has risen dramatically, with DocuWest presenting documentaries that have received accolades and awards, have screened at prestigious film festivals such as Sundance, HotDocs, Tribeca and more, and have aired on HBO. In addition to these film festival favorites, DocuWest will also offer a unique line-up of documentaries from an impressive group of emerging filmmakers from around the world.
