PRESENTED BY Foothills Art Center
Foothills Art Center is proud to present a comprehensive exhibition that chronicles the legendary western wear design of Rockmount Ranch Wear, a Denver-based clothing company, and its indelible influence on fashion and popular culture around the world. Built from the ground up by founder, Jack A. Weil (1901 – 2008), who worked daily until the age of 107, this three-generation family company has called Denver’s historic lower downtown district home since 1946. Jack A. Weil popularized the use of snap fasteners on western shirts. His signature design of diamond shaped snaps and saw tooth shaped pockets is considered the longest running production-style shirt design made in America.
