Matt’s work includes symbolically rich compositions with raw, almost tribal sensibility and rapid, muscular techniques. Dense with detail and fraught with emotion, his works combine a brazenly subversive political wit with street-influenced style. As a young child, his left arm was amputated after a traumatic accident. Eleven years later, he began to share his paintings with the world and hasn’t stopped since.
