Music in the Galleries: Harry Tuft
Founder of the Denver Folklore Center and one of Denver's premier folk singers, Tuft will present an afternoon of Burl Ives and Lead Belly, two artists represented in Still's record collection.
Music was part of Still's life from an early age. Still played piano and memorized works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Schubert. His record collection, which is part of the Museum's archives, includes an eclectic mix of classical, jazz, traditional, gospel, blues, and folk. If you share Still's appreciation for music, join us for these live performances in the galleries to experience his work through both sight and sound.
