Bovine Metropolis Theater Presents Political Satire and Comedy During the Convention Week
August 07, 2008
Bovine Metropolis Theater, Denver's finest improv and sketch comedy venue, will host a series of politically-themed shows during the Democratic National Convention.
Political comedies and special showings during DNC week include:
"Convention?"
A satirical look at how NOT to get elected.
Three candidates, only one nomination. See what life is like behind the scenes of a presidential campaign. All the back-room dealings with no script and no rules. Find out why one candidate is promising to build a footbridge from the Amazon to Texas, or why Mag. Chloride is the greatest evil known to man. The only show that allows you to be part of the political process, without doing any real damage to the country, "Convention?" is a hilarious look at how NOT to get elected.
