Photos: Denver Gets Ready for the Convention

The Fillmore Auditorium hosted the New Orleans All Star Jam-Balaya, a benefit concert for
Friends of New Orleans on Sunday night.

Delegates and media were welcomed to the
Mile High City by the largest welcome
signage program in Denver history.

The City's innovative new bike-share program, Freewheelin, offered up hundreds of
bikes, free of charge. for locals and visitors to explore Denver on.

Thousands of volunteers will
meet and greet delegates
all over the city. These two

More than 15,000 members of the media -- coming from virtually every part of the globe -- are

Convention, which took place
a century ago.

this week, on the 16th Street
Mall and elsewhere.
