Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper is featured in the Wall Street Journal's "What's Your Workout" section this week, covering his workout regime and dedication to fitness.

On any given day in Denver's City Hall, it's common to see employees racing each other in the stairwell. It's not an emergency drill. Denver mayor John Hickenlooper has established a "no elevator" policy amongst his staff.
"If I catch someone taking the elevator, I glare at them," says Mr. Hickenlooper, who created the unofficial rule in 2003 in an effort to make his staff more health conscious.
