MAYOR JOHN HICKENLOOPER TO KICK OFF $1-MILLION MILE HIGH HOLIDAYS CAMPAIGN

Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper will join VISIT DENVER, and other business leaders at a press conference in front of The Wizard’s Chest toy store in Cherry Creek North to kick off the 2010 Mile High Holidays campaign.

Sponsored by VISIT DENVER, the City of Denver and more than two dozen other partners, the integrated, $1-million marketing campaign features television, radio and print ads, billboards, websites and transit advertising, all designed to encourage visitors from throughout the region to come to Denver during the holiday period, from November to January.

Details of the campaign and its economic importance will be released.
