The City and County of Denver’s Division of Theatres and Arenas will celebrate the 100th birthday of the Quigg Newton Denver Municipal Auditorium this week. The Newton Auditorium – now home to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House – is the oldest performance venue still operating in Denver.
