Just 10 minutes from downtown Denver, the Refuge is home for more than 330 species of wildlife including bison, bald eagles, deer, and burrowing owls. Public opportunities include nature programs, guided wildlife viewing tours, fishing, wildlife photography, and hiking more than 9 miles of trails. A new auto tour route allows visitors to see the Refuge at their own pace.
