June 11, 2013, a devastating wildlife struck the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, destroying just about everything except America's Highest Suspension Bridge. The park anticipates a "one-way bridge only" ticket for vehicular traffic sometime in August once demolition is completed. Expect a brand new park by summer 2014!
