Your kids will absolutely love Chatfield’s incredible Corn Maze, one of the most attended mazes in the country. Boasting 12-foot stalks of corn, this year’s maze includes so many twists and turns – eight acres worth – that it will be the most challenging one yet! Enjoy tasty fall treats from our food vendors. Hay rides are available for the entire family on Saturdays and Sundays from noon – 5 p.m. for $5 per person. Groups of 10 or more are $4 per person. Teens and adults can experience a chilling haunted house in October.

Kids can find all kinds of trick or treat activities in the museum’s Railroad Halloween Town: Catch a ride behind our historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume. Visit all the Town’s special stops to fill your treat bag. Visit the “not so spooky” haunted house or the Olde Railroaders silly graveyard. Get a great shot of the kids’ costumes in the Pumpkin Patch. Or warm your hands around the Hobo Campfire and sit a spell for kid-friendly storytelling.
