The world famous exhibition, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs boasts 130 objects from the tomb of Tutankhamum and other famous Egyptian pharaohs – most of which have never been seen in the U.S. before, including a 10-foot statue of Tut, the largest image of the boy king ever discovered.

The 2010 Biennial of the Americas celebrates the art, culture and ideas from 35 countries in the Western Hemisphere. Art exhibits, live music, cultural programming and roundtable discussions culminate in a citywide event throughout the month of July. It’s one of the most exciting international events of 2010, and one of the biggest cultural happenings Denver has ever hosted.
Highlights include:
- Art installations and exhibits inside and out, at the McNichols Building in Civic Center Park, featuring artists from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Columbia, as well as the U.S. A children’s area will also provide interactive art activities.
- Special programming at 22 attractions throughout the city of Denver, including Denver Botanic Gardens, Butterfly Pavilions, Museo de las Americas, Art District on Santa Fe and the Denver Art Museum.
- Evening performances at McNichols Building in Civic Center Park on Fridays and Saturdays, including performers from Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and the U.S.

Denver Botanic Garden’s landmark, open-air exhibition of monumental works by the internationally acclaimed sculptor Henry Moore was named by Time magazine as one of the Top 10 museum exhibits of 2008.
