The lineup this year includes Lee Brice, Vintage Trouble, Fishbone, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, Larkin Poe, Peter Cincotti, the Wendy Wood Band, Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers, The Railbenders, Something Underground, Uncle Lucius, What Made Milwaukee Famous, the Mary Louise Lee Band, Wheeler Brothers, The Noms, Desert Noises, Strange Americans, The Congress, Oakhurst, Austin Young, Take To The Oars, Martin D’Arce, Jessica Gabrielle and the J. The performance areas will be along the 16th Street Mall, Denver’s mile-long pedestrian promenade, making it easy to roam from act to act. Food vendors, interactive booths and a beer garden will be set up throughout downtown for the event, with free music rocking the city from 2:30 to 9:30 p.m.
There are many activities to do on Memorial Day weekend in addition to Denver Day of Rock. Take advantage of these incredible hotel deals and make it an unforgettable Mile High City experience.
Sponsored by Newmont Mining, Denver’s Day of Rock is a fundraising event for Concert for Kids, a Denver-based, non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 50 children’s charities. VISIT DENVER, Sage Hospitality, Southwest Airlines, PCL Construction, Oakwood Homes, Marriott International, RK Mechanical, EKS & H, the Downtown Denver Partnership, RTD, 9News, Entercom, the Denver Post and the City of Denver are supporting the event.
