One of Denver's top summertime events, Film On The Rocks lets you enjoy blockbuster entertainment on the big screen in the incomparable setting of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The great cinema is just the beginning of the fun. Each Film On The Rocks event features an opening comedian or band as well as fun, audience participation contests. Highlights from this year's schedule include The Big Lebowksi (May 31), Edward Scissorhands (June 28), and Twilight (July 20). Doors open at 6 p.m., movies generally start at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the box office on the day of show. Check the website for cool Party Bus packages, which includes a ride to and from Red Rocks, cocktails, dinner and VIP access.

New this year! The Denver Cruisers Ride, a fun bike cruise, has partnered with the Civic Center Conservancy and Denver Parks & Recreation to Civic Center Park four nights of FREE movies and bikes. The ride will start at 7 p.m. at a different location (check website for specifics), and cruise over to the park for a classic movie under the stars. The dates are June 26, July 10, July 24 and Aug. 7, with movies to be announced soon! Check the website.
