During the Holidays, the tree-lined, mile-long 16th Street Mall is ablaze with the color of more than one million lights, offering a fun and festive atmosphere to explore Downtown’s shopping scene. In the chic Larimer Square, on Larimer St. between 14th and 15th Streets find all kinds of holiday gifts among the high-end regionally exclusive shops. If you’ve got a bookworm on your list, look no further than Tattered Cover, Denver’s beloved Lower Downtown bookseller, where you’ll find great deals on books, cards and gift items. The newly renovated Denver Pavilions is an open-air shopping and entertainment center stretching over two city blocks on the 16th Street Mall, between Welton and Tremont Streets. Shop at upscale retailers such as Banana Republic, Niketown, Ann Taylor, Victoria’s Secret, and The Gap.
Shopper’s Tip: During the holiday season, Denver Pavilions is offering FREE gift wrapping and package delivery service. Drop your packages at Ro Sham Beaux (level 1 near Maggiano’s Little Italy) and present your receipt(s) from any Denver Pavilions’ merchant. You can choose to wait for your items to be wrapped – or take advantage of complimentary delivery service: the “Pavilions Express.” Denver Pavilions will deliver your beautifully wrapped packages to residences and offices in the downtown area within the same business day.

With more than 160 distinctive stores, restaurants and boutiques, it’s hard not to find something for absolutely everyone at Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Shop to your heart’s content at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffany & Co., Nordstrom, and Macy’s. Across the street, Cherry Creek North’s 16 blocks are filled with holiday lights and décor highlighting the region’s largest collection of independently owned boutiques, home stores, restaurants, and galleries.
Shopper’s Tip: Tourists visiting Cherry Creek Shopping Center can receive a Passport to Shopping, which provides discounts to more than 60 stores within the Center. Guests from out of town may request the Passport to Shopping at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center's Guest Services Center, located on the lower level near Neiman Marcus.

Stop by one of the Museum Shops whenever the Museum is open and choose from an array of beautiful and unique items perfect for holiday giving, ranging from jewelry, books and scarves to games, prints and decorative accents for an artful home. You can also purchase gift memberships – the deadline to have the membership packet mailed to the recipient by Christmas is December 4. If you are putting it under the tree yourself, make your purchase as late as Christmas Eve!

The annual Denver Christkindl Market at Skyline Park in Downtown Denver features quality merchandise from the Old Country as well as food and drinks, including authentic German beer and Glühwein. The market will have normal hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with special extended hours for the 9News Parade of Lights.
