"If you’re going to take one art trip this fall, head to Denver” – The Kansas City Star

The Mile High City is gearing up for an arty Autumn – and VISIT DENVER, The Convention & Visitors Bureau and Southwest Airlines want to fly one lucky winner and a friend out to experience it. The Great Denver Art Escape will put you right in the middle of Denver Arts Week (Nov. 2-10), which sees the city’s creative community putting on a citywide cultural celebration.

The winner will receive roundtrip airfare for two from Southwest Airlines and three nights’ accommodations with a Becoming Van Gogh hotel package from the Westin Denver Downtown from November 1 - 4, featuring two skip-the-line tickets to the exclusive exhibition at the Denver Art Museum. The winner will also be treated to a one-of-a-kind art experience in The Mile High City with two VIP tickets to the red carpet premiere of the 35th Annual Starz Denver Film Festival on Thursday, November 1.

On Friday night, the winner will be whisked through Denver by glamorous limousine around the City’s thriving art districts during Know Your Arts First Friday, the opening night kickoff to Denver Arts Week, featuring live music, art demonstrations, food and drink, and a chance to interact with artists. And, Saturday night the winner can experience Night at the Museums, where nearly 20 of Denver’s museums are open late in the evening, and admission is free.

The Great Denver Art Escape giveaway will begin on Facebook.com/visitdenver on Wednesday, September 19 at 8am. The contest will run until midnight (MST) on October 1, and the winner will be determined on October 2.
