With more than 300 days of sunshine annually, golf courses stay open year-round and patios are always on standby for a glorious blue-sky day. There are four seasons for locals and visitors to enjoy. The snow primarily stays in the nearby mountains where it is relished for skiing, snowboarding and other forms of outdoor fun.

Mile High & Mild

Located east of a major mountain range, Denver has a mild, dry and sunny climate with more annual hours of sun than San Diego or Miami Beach.

Dry Denver

In winter, Denver is drier than Phoenix with an average daily high of 45 degrees in February. Sure it snows, but a lot less than you might think.

Fore!

Golf courses remain open all year and have been played as many as 30 days in January.

Summer Days and Nights

In summer, Denver enjoys low humidity, making for sunny days and comfortable evenings. The average temperature in August is a mild 86 degrees.
