A Walking Whisky, History, and Outlaws Tour

Sep 9, 2020 - Jan 1, 2021

Details

On this 3 -hour walking tour of Downtown Denver, you’ll find out about Whisky, History, and Outlaws! What do those three have to do with Denver? Denver was truly the Wild West, where dreams and fortunes were made, won, and lost. Gun fights, gambling, high stakes poker games, prostitution, Denver had it all.

Along the way you’ll find out how and where Denver REALLY began, you’ll sip a beer in the oldest brewery in Colorado, hear tales of the gun fighters, pioneers, con men, kingpins of the underworld, and the bootleggers, smugglers and crime families that made Denver what it is today!

Along the way you’ll taste (if you choose) craft beer, expertly made cocktails, and finish with a whisky/bourbon tasting at the finest modern saloon Denver has to offer.

Fun for friends, families, bachelor parties, or if you just want to learn more about Denver, this tour is for you.

What to Expect?

You will meet your experience creator (aka local guide) near the Tivoli Brewery. After a brief introduction, we dive into the histories and stories of where, when and how Denver and the historic Brewery were started. You will walk about 1.5 miles throughout downtown. Along the way, you will visit major landmarks and become captivated as we weave in stories of our past to show how these people and events changed the very fabric of the Mile High City.

You will end the tour at the Indigo Hotel or The Dairy Block. Stick around for 30 minutes after the tour for a Whisky/Bourbon tasting!
