Commonwheel Artists Labor Day Weekend Art Festival
Sep 2, 2017 - Sep 4, 2017
The Commonwheel Artists 43rd Annual Labor Day Art Festival offers a weekend filled with juried, quality artwork and contemporary crafts, music, art-related activities for kids and food. Commonwheel Artists Co-op brings excellent high-quality fine art and contemporary crafts to the Pikes Peak Region during this annual three-day juried Art Festival. It is the premiere Art Festival attraction in the Pikes Peak Region.
The Commonwheel Art Festival is located in a beautiful park setting in picturesque and historic Manitou Springs, Colorado at the foot of Pikes Peak. Beautiful old shade trees fill the park and Fountain Creek runs along the south side of Memorial Park.
Over 100 juried artists will display watercolors, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, stained glass, photography, and oil paintings, and so much more.
All artists have been chosen by a jury of professional artists. Only handcrafted work created by the artists who will be present at the festival has been accepted.
Live original music by local performers fills our outdoor stage area all three days. Fun art activities for the children happen throughout the Park. There is a tent where children can have a hands-on art experience.
Eco-friendly food vendors serve up delicious treats found in a tree-shaded food court. This is a great place to meet friends before exploring the art festival. Enjoy lunch at a table in the food court and a bit of live music, then stroll among the beautiful art filled booths to find the perfect art for your home or body.
