Dynamic Variation:

Denver Concert Band presents Winter Around the World

Nov 20, 2021

The Denver Concert Band's annual holiday concert returns. The first half will showcase an exciting classical repertoire, while the second half explores the holiday season, including the piece "Russian Christmas Music." There may even be a visit from a certain couple from the North Pole!

A community band of 90 volunteer musicians, the Denver Concert Band (DCB) performs concerts year-round in the Denver Metro Area and throughout Colorado. Known for their uniquely sonorous bass, powerful brass, sparkling woodwinds and dynamic percussion, their concert repertoire has something for everyone. The DCB has performed in Europe and at several music conventions as well as neighboring states.

Within the DCB is a group called the Show and Tell Band, (SATB) that performs throughout the school year in schools, senior living communities, and a variety of other events. The principal focus of the SATB is to educate people from kindergarten age to those who are kids at heart, about band instruments and music. The DCB is thrilled to be returning to the Lone Tree Arts Center for their formal concerts again this year, and they look forward to performing exciting concerts for their patrons.

Information about the Denver Concert Band can be found on THEIR WEBSITE.
