Faces and Stories of Colorado’s Agriculture

Aug 23, 2017

Colorado Proud, a program of the Colorado Department of Agriculture, is stopping at three farmers’ markets in Denver and Boulder, as part of its Faces and Stories of Colorado’s Agriculture, a month-long, statewide program with a mix of in-person, video and online farmer conversations; a tour through Colorado’s agricultural communities; consumer events at farmers’ markets and festivals; and educational outreach about the people behind agriculture’s impact on Colorado’s economy, heritage and environment.

At the Colorado Proud booth at each farmers’ market, consumers can gather educational information about Colorado agriculture, recipe cards with locally-grown ingredients, and farmer profiles.  In addition, they will have opportunities to interact with representatives of Colorado Proud, to hear their stories and learn about their agricultural experiences.
