Fake Network News: A Fully Improvised Show
Feb 8, 2018 - Mar 8, 2018
FNN: Real issues. Biased Coverage.
This just in...some news should be fake. Luckily, savvy experts at Denver's own Bovine Metropolis Theater are stepping in to corner the market with their new, fully improvised show, “Fake Network News."
Performed in the style of Meet the Press, AC 360 and other cable news programs, FNN features interviews, recurring segments and round-table discussions between their fake news anchors and a ‘virtual who’s who’ of counterfeit experts, pundits and commentators.
“The fakest of the fake. (@BovineMetro) Sad. So-called journalists make up all the facts. PATHETIC. Only I can do that. LOSERS.”
~President Trump (note: this is a fake tweet, or IS it?)
While the Pundits might be fake, the issues are utterly real and provided by the audience. Gun control? Sure. Immigration? Why not. The ethics of pet squirrel fashion shows? Um, ok. The anchors, reporters and commentators at FNN are chomping at the bit to give you all the fake news you deserve. The FNN production staff is going rogue, unscripted and improvised. It’s all fabricated on the spot, and in front of your lying eyes.
“Do not see this show. It is false American propaganda and lies. Unfunny. Read smart tweets from our puppet, your GREAT AMERICAN President.”
~ Vladimir Putin (note: this is a fake quote, or IS it?)
Share your ideas with the glorious hairdos and buffoonish news anchors. Bring an open mind and a willingness to laugh at the absurdities inherent in today’s political landscape.
All shows are for all ages but will be dealing with adult, political content.
