Once upon a time Denver had one of the largest streetcar systems in the nation. The streetcar allowed folks to begin their suburban dreams and carried generations of workers, revelers and everyone else. We’ll see where the lines ran, how their presence changed the neighborhoods they served, and how whole cities were able to exist because of them. The streetcars are no more, but the signs of their legacy remain. As Denver spends billions to put some of this system back together, it’s time to pay homage to the trolleys of the past! All aboard!
Includes bus transportation and a break for lunch on your own dime.
