Havana, Cuba... Hemingway's Haunt
Jul 7, 2017 - Jul 29, 2017
Brian Trybus Designs / 2520 LAR in the RiNo Art District is thrilled to present a photographic study of present day Havana, Cuba… which appears unspoiled / frozen in time since the days that “El Papa” frequented its’ innumerable bars, restaurants & hideaways.
This show blends artistic and photo journalistic photography work providing a comprehensive look at the incredibly resilient culture, historic charm, vivid colors, crumbling buildings, beautiful people... and plethora of antique cars observed in the city. The exhibit includes a wide variety of artistic enlargements; as well as, “retro” style images, captured on grainy 35mm black & white film, photographed with vintage single-lens reflex equipment (Asahi Pentax K1000 & Pentax ME Super). Hand pulled “old school” black & white dark room prints will even be made available special order.
