When Front Range folks look for entertainment and beauty, they invariably look west to the mountains—but there are phenomenal offerings of both in the opposite direction. It’s time for a tour of the stellar city of Sterling. Known as the City of Living Trees for its collection of cottonwoods that have been carved into imaginative works of art, Sterling is an artistic vision on the prairie. We’ll join the city’s annual celebration, Sugar Beet Days, and even learn some fascinating history while we’re there. Head east for artistry, entertainment, history and the sweetness of sugar. Even the cottonwoods-turned-art would approve!
Includes bus transportation, guides, admissions and a break for lunch at the festival on your own dime.
