This year’s concert will showcase fusion of traditional, classical, and contemporary music augmented by the Colorado Symphony’s soaring orchestrations conducted by Colorado Symphony Assistant Conductor Andres Lopera with guest artists: Diana Gameros, Conjunto Colores, Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra and Mariachi Correcaminos from the Metropolitan State University. Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas is a free community concert celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and cultural sounds of Latin music in a festive atmosphere.
This concert will surprise you, this concert will move you, and this concert will have you experience a night of joy and rich entertainment that goes beyond culture and language. The Symphonic music combined with alegre sounds in an upbeat style of Indie rhythms of the nontraditional contemporary blend of music that will bring you to your feet. It will include music from local and international talent from different rhythms and backgrounds.
This will be an evening that will make your heart beat celebrating the music, traditions, culture and languages of the Americas.
The free tickets for Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas concert will be available on Thursday, September 14th at the Box Office in Boettcher Concert Hall, located at 1000 14th Street, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex in downtown Denver. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, noon – 6 pm. Tickets are complimentary. Tickets are required for admission to the concert, though tickets do not guarantee admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
