Looking for Infinity: El Camino

Jun 16, 2017

The Colorado Front Range Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino is pleased to offer the premiere Colorado screening of the film “Looking for Infinity: El Camino”.

The 450-mile long Camino de Santiago across northern Spain, or the Way of Saint James, is one of the oldest and most popular of all spiritual pilgrimages, now undertaken by almost 300,000 people every year. Many of these pilgrims undergo a spiritual rebirth on the path from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in the northwest corner of Spain, which is often considered metaphorical for the journey from cradle to grave. It is against this backdrop that the conceptual documentary “Looking for Infinity: El Camino” was born.

“Looking for Infinity” offers an intimate and fascinating insight into the pilgrim’s journey, seeking to probe some of the timeless questions confronting humanity.

What the critics are saying:
“This simple, touching film brings the true soul of the Camino experience to life.”
“The essence of El Camino.”
“A hypnotic cinema experience.”
“A beautiful, sincere and gentle work for those who want to savour life…”
