Feature #1: Color Blind


Is the story of three friends growing up in the rough, inner city. Jeffery an African-American young boy and his father, an aspiring surgeon, quickly befriend J.C. and his family, recently arrived Asian immigrants. Jeffery's father quickly instills the idea that education will take J.C. and Jeffery out of their rough neighborhood and on their way to the American dream, filmed in 2003.


Feature #2: Peace 2 "U"
Follows the musical journey of the bagpiper who appeared in Davon Johnson's short film "Amazing Grace". In Peace 2 "U" the bagpiper (now playing the pennywhistle) teams up with a conga/kalimba player, as he is absorbed in musical joy on a street corner in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood. Made in 2012.


Feature #3: 'Country Music is in my Blood"
A reporter form the African International Press comes from Washington D.C. to Denver to interview a country western singer (1993) – Live performance by Country Music singer Denver own Rudy Grant to close out the evening.

First film will be: 'Ujamaa Holiday Market"
Small black business owners struggle to keep their door opens for business! Into day's world!!! Filmed 2015.


Second Film will be: "The Civil Rights Peaceful Protests" in Washington D.C. 1963
A PBS documentary filmed 2017, pays tribute to nonviolent civil disobedience based on Christian beliefs started long before the 1963 peaceful protest, March for Freedom on Washington, D.C. A. Philip Randolph, Bayard Rustin and A.J. Muste formed the idea of a peaceful movement including a march on Washington in the early 1940's.They successfully pressure sequential Presidents to issue executive orders that advanced the civil rights cause. Their call to action is passed on to a next generation. We will also feature a Jazz Tribute to MLK Jr., and all the others.


Third Film will be: "Country Music is in my Blood". Made in 1993 shot on 16mm Film.
