Reverend Horton Heat

Apr 15, 2019

The Reverend Horton Heat is perhaps the most popular psychobilly artist of all time who built a strong cult following through constant touring, manic showmanship, and a twisted sense of humor. Who better to give a “case of the Mondays” a kick in the upright bass than The Rev on Monday, April 15th the historic Stanley Hotel Concert Hall!

Most of the Reverend’s lyrics are gonzo celebrations of sex, drugs, booze, and cars, and true to his name, his concerts often feature mock sermons in the style of a rural revivalist preacher. From the High-Octane Spaghetti-Western Wall of Sound in “Big Sky” – to the dark driving frenetic paranoia of “400 Bucks” – to the brain-melting Western Psychedelic Garage purity of “Psychobilly Freakout” – The Rev’s music is the perfect soundtrack to the Drive-In Movie of your life.
