On Saturday, April 28, with a ticketed opening reception, Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) will launch “Robert Rauschenberg,” an exhibition of more than 50 original artworks from private collections that span from 1980 to 2008. The exhibition, which is focused on collaborations for which the American Master was known, opens to the public on May 1 and runs through August 4.
The April 28 sneak-peek ticketed preview event, “A Night of Rauschenberg” takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at MOA (1000 Englewood Pkwy., Englewood, CO 80110), with a VIP champagne reception from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and general admission from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The VIP ticket includes a chance to meet the collectors, an exclusive advanced preview of the exhibition, a complimentary champagne bar and hors d’oeuvres. All guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, culinary stations, a dessert bar and live music entertainment.
Tickets to the event cost $100 for VIP and $50 for general admission and must be purchased in advance at moaonline.org. Tickets are limited, and the event is expected to sell out. Proceeds from the event support MOA’s Design and Build program for emerging artists.
Beginning on May 1, the exhibition is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission price is $10.
