Slow Food Social at Ad Hominem
Aug 16, 2018
Join us for a Slow Food Denver "Slow Food Social!" Enjoy small bites and drinks from Ad Hominem while meeting with new friends and supporting Slow Food. 10% of the evening’s proceeds will go to local Slow Food programming. This event is free and open to the public - no entry fee or registration.
Speakers: Chris Martinez, Executive Chef of Ad Hominem and Clint Buckner from Buckner Family Ranch. They will speak and answer questions about sourcing locally in Colorado, partnering with Colorado purveyors and Colorado agriculture!
Slow Food Socials are an opportunity for members and new friends to build community by gathering at local restaurants, breweries and wineries to learn from speakers about how they embody Slow Food. These events will cover topics from school gardens and community organizing to cooking, preserving, local sourcing and sustainable business. And of course, it would not be a Slow Food Social without small bites and drinks from some amazing local producers!
